@Shinsimilla , there was a documentary a while back that had a scene that is rather infamous now, where indigenous folks make dry sift in their original methods in Spain to be smuggled to the EU by speedboat... the translation/dubbs for this scene was to the effect of 'and now we beat and collect the pollen' and I swear the community has never recovered lol have seen someone try to pollinate their plant with keef and could not understand that it wasn't pollen

Pollen is essentially plant sperm, that isn't what we use to make hash. What you mean is pollem, when kief is pressed into blocks without heat. What you are describing is dry sift, kief is similar, but has more plant material and will be in the bottom of your grinder.
