I am growing northern lights auto grow and when I am making a lst, I cut off the big leaves (I cut 10 leaves) I do this to ensure that the ones below get good light. I have read in some places that this is wrong. Is the cutting process I am doing right or wrong?

if u'd cut the big fans so that the little could see a light then u've lost a good chunk of photosynthesis
