with the addition of the new cure bags on the market i dry in the bags and do long term storage in jars.... the cure bags are basically ziploc bags that allow for air and humidity exchange between 58-62 percent humidity.... the bags eliminate the need for burping the jars and in four to six weeks the perfectly cured bud is now ready for long term storage in mason jars.... sweet decades and grove bags are the two curing bags i've used.... as for the humidity packs i try to only use them to revive dried out product.

i like to educate folks on these when they come up. metals especially in raw form react with water, generally speaking take metal blends, which have been blended in an attempt to hit a certain target (and vary batch by batch), then put them into mass production accepted plastic type bags with two way membranes for water, then put them into a cute branded pack cutting these, buying cheap ones, using them past their date, and many other factors that come into play...can make these a bad time. huge dont touch em from me

i don't use any. just aim to have your buds around 62-60 percent. I had buds that stayed that humidity for over 17 months in jars with no packs. save your money they are way to expensive. i think they may rob some of the flavor too

also make sure your buds are dried correctly. not to fast and burp them cure jars daily for the first week. they need good air exchange.

hey 👋 Start in open air at 60% during the first week, then lower it to 55% or even 50% during the second week. Make sure to ventilate the room, but not directly toward the buds (dark room, 15-18°celsius) After that, put your buds in jars with a 62% Boveda pack, and open the jars every day for 1–2 minutes. After 7–10 days, you can just open the jars every 3 days. Ideally, wait 4 weeks from the cut before consuming, but that doesn’t stop you from tasting it earlier 😉
