in your profile settings. is not that hard to find it. could also use the contact us form and ask them to delete it for you. Your profile has nothing on it either, abondoning it is also an option.

Click on your profile picture, then look for gear icon+settings . Delete account is on the far right. I am on web browser so may be a little diffrent on other devices. I get yoru fustration i just deactivated my IG and took 20 minutes to find how to do it. at least grow diaries seems to be pretty straight forward with deletion.
