That's not rootbound. Just make sure it doesn't sit in its piss, and those roots will remain healthy -- pot elevator or something so that it doesn't sit in its own runoff for long periods of time -- just a good practice in general, too. Roots will air-prune better that way. you can tell where more moisture was by root pattern.
11L is plenty for an autoflower.

you don't choose the volume of water to give. you give what it takes to complete step 1... based on the one week you have posted, it seems like this is relevant to bring up, but could be wrong.
