I'm a fan of not doing much to them until week 4 or so. then I usually take about 4 bottom leaves off and top off the the plant on 5th-8th node, and tuck the upper leaves under the new shoot underneath them. so a mix of hst and lst using the leave itself to do the work. I also could make my plants smaller but makes it harder to water so i like to have some leggyness to my plants. You shouldn't need to do much with them because you have a number of plants should fill your space pretty quick

LST is light stress training. cutting off the tops is HST High stress training. Avoid HST with autos. photoperiods can handel it much better.

as long as it efficiently gets you to your target canopy, sure... if you aren't working toward a specific end goal in regard to canopy construction, it's hard to say. Just breaking apical dominance will spread the growth out.

If it’s an auto, I wouldn’t top it bro LST alone is perfect at this stage. If it’s a photo, you can top once it has 5–6 nodes and give it a few days to recover before training more. Looking healthy so far

You can cut the top off,I usually do and then do Lst work, I think it balances out the growth on the plant and helps keep it nice and uniform.

Topping will depend how many branches you want you overall. If you have 3 nodes thats 3 sets of branches from the soil giving 6 branches that will come up, same at the 2nd node have 4 branches and the 2 branches from the 1st node.. Also tho to add to this you can then also top the branches... So at 3rd node will give 6 branches ye.. Top those branches and you now have 12 branches and so on.. 2nd node gives you 4 branches, top those and you have 8... 1st node gives 2 branches top those you have 2. This can be done over and over again if you like.. So 1st node starting with 2 branches giving you the main manifold to keep topping and end up with countless branches. This works for every node and every branch... Hope this help you to understand the principle.. Good luck growmie
