Hi guys I have just stumbled accross this and just wanted another opinion because to me it's almost perfect for flower. The price for 20kg is only 28.99.. Probably last a lifetime lol... All opinions welcome. Thanks in advance, grow on.

Too high nitrogen for mid/late flower and could negatively affect the final taste, fine line. You would need to make sure to feed carbon in order to immobilize the nitrogen; otherwise, the pH would run wild. An ideal range for soil microbes is about 24:1 for maximum activity. Yeah man, I'd be quite happy with a few bags of that. Microorganisms need nitrogen to convert sugars into chemical energy in a medium. So long as you keep them fed and breaking down sugars, and don't oversaturate, causing oxygen shortages they should immobilize the nitrogen, making it pretty sweet imo.

It wouldn't be, as it's a slow releasing nutrient blend, I mean look at the size of those minerals!. Maybe In a super soil it might be worth adding a bit but I'd still prefer to add the usual (normal) things anyway that release slow but not so slow.

1-5-5 is probably not a great ratio by itself. want cheap fertilzier? buy 25lb bags of jacks 5-12-26 and combine with generic epson salt and calcium nitrate. can get a 50lb bag of cal nitrate for 30-40 usd (yara liva or whatever the brand is called.) There prices have gone up lately, but still less than 4 cents per gallon and it's something over 3500 gallons mixed, if i recall correctly... even if not exact, it's thousands of gallons. megacrop, cropsalt, masterblend, southern ag and others all have a similar setup -- some 'base' with cal-nitrate and epsom. Between these three you parts can adjust formula in a fairly resolved way to avoid all vast majority of potential symptoms wiht a rock solid formula. Jacks also has a 0-12-26 "Part A" option, which allows you to drop N while maintaining caclium levels in flower. i don't get any of these products for free. I am not a shill for hire. The particular brand in this case is irrelevant. If you see another brand with a similar setup and cheaper, go that way.
