Post harvest drying conditions - is everything set up properly?

Hey growers, First of all, I want to thank everyone that helped me. Some of you went to such extent, it helped me incredibly. Now, she was harvested and hung into the tent. I'll post some screenshots that show the environment, and I would like to know if everything is good.

It’s generally beneficial if the fan doesn’t blow too strongly inside the tent — the gentle, passive airflow from the exhaust system is usually sufficient — and wet trimming can also be advantageous, as it helps reduce the loss of resin, or more precisely, trichomes 💚

Make sure no direct wind hits the hanging buds — that causes uneven drying and crispy edges. Ideal setup: air moves around the tent, exchanging air gently 3–5 times per hour. Oscillating fans are okay if they point below or above the hanging colas. Lighting Keep the tent dark — light breaks down cannabinoids. If sensors require a bit of light, use a green inspection light only when checking progress. Drying duration goal At 18.8 °C and 59 % RH, expect 7–10 days of drying time before the stems snap slightly but not cleanly. That’s the sweet spot before trimming and jarring. Optional fine-tuning If the outer layer feels crispy before 6 days: raise RH to 60–62 %. If it still feels very moist after 8 days: increase blower speed slightly or drop RH to ~55 %. Big up and keep growing ganja farmerd! Be nice 💚✌️

And then you added magnets to help flowering and snap your plant uo because you use the lunar system to fix them.. Don't you ever say BROSCIENCE to anyone ever again... Sorry about the question hijack nitrous but this 1 has been kicked ouy of the asylum.... 60/60 like I said brother

Don't broscience me you orifis green. I have just seen your diary and in you think that if you add your spit to the germination water the plant will grow to what your body needed like breast milk for babies.. That is the most stupid broscience crap I have ever heard.. Wow you spanner. Game changer you pal... Good look.. Morel of the story don't listen to anyone that grows weed purpose grown to support that body,, DNA germination... Nearly pissed myself...

Don't listen to anyone that says 60° f/c - 60% rh. Use a dew point calculator to help you better tune the dry room. There are plenty of aster growers that have proven the 60/60 it's stupid and can lead to mold. Bro science is dumb to them. Look up Dr Bruce Bugbee, he us helping change the game from growers and put the science behind it. Plus this is a stage you need to learn and tune yourself to your grow room. Everyone has different ways. Figure out what yours is and stick with it. Good luck 🤙

forgot to say -- darkness is the most important factor to preserving potency. Temp and rh are important in regard to minimizing degredation over time, but also keep it as dark as possible. Light breaks down thc faster than any of the other factors -- given common sense contest... maybe not true if you live in Death Valley or the Saharan deset? But, if you smoke it within 3-6 months, there is less concern about being super anal about potency. This is far more important in regard to long-term storage contexts. You probably can't notice losing 5-10% of potency... proper storage might lose 5-10% in a year, give or take... multiplying that with exposure to light might add up to something you'd notice... definitely more likely to do so. i doubt anybody can tell 25% from 22.5% in a blind test and that's a 10% difference, just to put it in perspective. a dimly lit room won't ruin anything. My curtains aren't blackout. I store weed for 1 year at a time before replacing it. I can't notice a difference at end of the year from normal variance from plant to plant.

Anything 7+ days long is fine, but 'they' say to shoot for longer. In my experience, wet trim and cut down to similarly sized nugs on a mesh rack in 60% rh and mid-60F takes about 9-12 days depending on density of nugs. Whole plant and no trim probably 14 days? Though a strong breeze might hasten that process. no direct wind.. temp and rh are fine. If there's a strong breeze, it'll speed up the process and cause an even greater difference between evaporation off the surface vs how quickly the moisture traverses the plant material from the center - the outside feeling dry but far from done is exaggerated further. The excess moisture deeper in the plant materia takes longer to 'spread out' than rate of evaporation off the surface. So, it lags behind... therefore buds feel dry before they are actually dried properly. a small tent is not the best drying space, even though it's commonly used. whatever circulates air almost certainly is causing a too strong breeze over the buds in such a tight space. circulation is only to ensure temp and rh stay consistent throughout the room or tent in this case, if closed. open it up on all three sides or just remove the canvas altogether, imo. if temp and rh are controlled, you'll quickly learn the timing for however you dry... Keep the climate similar and it'll be much easier to learn how to adjust, if needed. Can further manipulate drying times by hanging branches or cutting down to nugs or wet trimming... all of those options obviously speed up the process and hanging whole plants is the slowest option.

60/60. Fan underneath, not directly on... Aim for 2 weeks.. It's that easy...

Vent out when RH gets to high, but then tell it to stop when it lowers back down. does not need any other fans on, but if you want to, then lowest speed possible and point it at the corner not at the plants and let it gently move the air. The extractor should be coming on enough times to regulate RH that it does this for you on the regular. Drying should take about 7-10 days.

You don't need to use a humidifier so long as the space is mostly sealed the release of moisture will rapidly increase, the trick is to create a small opening which allows for humidity above a point to leak out. The normal humidity of the space will be 50% say, once the olant starts to release its moisture the rh will rise, making the smalll hole in the space bigger or smaller will determine how high the rh will rise to in a enclosed space. Not an exact science but over time I've been able to perfect it and really simplify what I once used to super overcompkicate when it doesn't need to be.

Also keep a singular fan moving air horizontally at bottom of dry space. Direct airflow = drying. We don't want that. Just something to keep a light gentle movement never letting the tiny particles of moisture sit for too long in a completely idle e environment.

Even in that space there will be 10-15% rh difference from top of the tent to the lowest cola. Everything looks great, consistency is key. If she happens to spike to 30% for 8 hours when you are at work then it's prissy hay smell and you don't get the time back. If it gets too wet or in the 70%s then budrot can happen. I generally put my sensors at lowest cola and set it to a tiny bit lower on the temps and humidity, say 55%55% knowing that a little bit higher and its going to be 62-62%. Basically be attentive and make sure nothing drifts too far out of range and understand that the humidity will rise as it's released. Looks like some cracking cola in there Nitrous, good bloody job! Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Air and Temp looks good i would hang them more in the middle since warm air tends so go up and there is more room for circulation
