Are they ready to flower in scrog net or veg more? 5.5 weeks old dos si do strain. I’ve kept them trimmed under the net. Not sure if they will be over crowded if they veg longer.

In my personal opinion, I still see quite a bit of open space in the net, and I think it would be helpful to give them a little more time in veg to do some more LST (low-stress training). Personally, I like my SCROG net to be fully filled, with no empty gaps, to make the most of the space and light. Keep in mind that once you flip to flower, you generally stop doing heavy LST and the branches will naturally grow more vertically. If you switch to flower now, they will stretch, but you might end up with some parts of the net not completely filled. In short: if you want a nicely filled and even canopy, let them veg for a few more days and keep training them. If you’d rather speed things up, you can flip now, but you’ll probably have some empty space left in the net.

I think its looking good. During veg under scrog my plants look a little crazy too. you would to if you had to grow under it. =] Id say another week and they should fill the space pretty good. try to expose the node to light and they will start making new branches within a few days and push the main stem under and but, evenly on all your tops of your plants. Its better to be safe than sorry if your space to your light is less than 2 1//2 or so feet may befit from flipping early, but if you have extra space you can let them veg out more. i think i tend to over veg my plants somewhat and they get quite tall in flower. my current run I'm not quite going to fill my net before the time i want to flip to flower so i'm gonna see how that effects filling out the net, and the final bud canopy that forms.

I would rearange them better, first row is way behind vs back. All depends from, will you lolipop, how many tops you want to create and so on. For my eyes, they need good healthy week of grow before flip.

What size is your tent? When you flip to flower, the plants are going to grow 40-50% of their current size. With that many plants, you’re going to run out of room quickly if you flip now. The plants near the edges and back will have nowhere to grow but up and that defeats the purpose of training a flat canopy for a true SCROG. This will be more of a sea of green (SOG). You’ll need to raise the screen a bit and train the plants again during the flower stretch to try and keep a flat canopy. I run two plants in a 3x3 with 7gal pots and those two plants will fill the entire screen if I veg to 80% screen coverage before flipping.
