Under canopy light, commercial cultivation has been proven to have special effects. Has home cultivation been verified by anyone?

The data in home cultivation would be hard to rationalize. unless your using multiple clones over many grows then compiling that data into a digestible format for peer review all while keeping the environment and testing the same as the last. One or two grows is not significant and controls are the main issue as they likely don't exist. So proving it works is not easy and will likely be filled with misinformation. Why are you asking these questions. just for brand recognition?

Elufah, if your looking for people to trial products then Dm growers on the site, obviously check their account to make sure their diaries are the style you want, most people on here will run a few diaries for a free product.

I know of a medical grow in BC Canada that just spent millions on under canopy lights. I don’t think it’s for yield, it’s for quality.

More veg time+better training= betteryeild under/side lighting= more larf

Underlighting is a waste. Completely unnecessary. If you want more yield, so many better ways to do that work. If you cant have ton of plants just do quicker cycles. Its not worth the cost, the extra heat. The roots need to be cooler than the rest of the plant. Plants don't naturally have mini suns underneath them. Going to make it harder to water if you don't have irrigation set up. More time to set up, more equipment cost. more electricity. Its just a complete waste. Then you raise the risk of starting fires from overloading curcuts and tangled messes of cords. A clean setup it what you want. And while we stretch the rules a bit indoors, that's just super un-natural. Mimicking nature will give you better results.

So select few lucky ones and ask to do 2 grows , one with top light, one with extra bottom. Provide 2 lights, growers will do rest, youll have good examples and info spread. Grower @Hashy does all accounting in his diaries, electricity used and etc, find few more and show off here ;)))

As someone mentioned befor, underneath light don,t worth it.. I did underneath and side light and the 2nd way better What i rly like in ur light that it has blue and white-cold, that is exactly precise spectre for developing buds. Definately add u to bookmarks for later

I’d enjoy looking at your data and side by side pictures proving these results instead of just hearing about it. Any kind of undercanopy lighting setup I’ve seen used didn’t amount to this kind of yield increase. If so, I’d be doing it.

A lot of light can't penetrate through dense canopies and if the tents full none will bounce of the side walls, so it makes sense that light below will help fatten up the lower parts of the plants.

I use under cannopy but would only recommend if everything else is on Point & if the plants are dense & high, no need for small plants etc. Increase yield by 10-20% but more for extracts rather than premium dens flower… they still stay way smaller because growth hormons still go to the tops… For Additional it’s ok, neccesary not at all
