1 week post sowing of seeds. Directly into coco. How do I feed them athena grow A+B please? Some seedlings are dead happy others have leaf curl in last 24hours. Light is 250W about 40cm from canopy, they were stretching first few days so dropped light on day 4 to where it is

gave this anwer in your more recent question... 1) always fertigate and get 10% runoff (waste water is fine for plants in the earth but not potted plants) 2) wait for appropriate dryback and repeat - either visbily drying on top or feel the loss of weight. The runoff is essential to soilless growing. It eliminates buildup from occurring. One less thing to consider when diagnosing a problem is more beneficial than you might think. Still need to dial in your fertilizer mix based on how the plant grows and adjusting to symptoms that occur. Fertilization is about teh long-haul and not what was done last night or last week

Coir or coco coir is void of nutrients in most cases, If you want to feed them you need to mix up the nutrients and give them in a low dose or below the recommend rate for seedlings. Its always best to add in a CaMg for coir grows if it was buffered properly. Coir can leach Ca and Mg from the soil and release excess Na and K. Always get a bit of runoff to prevent buildup and to avoid flushing later on to correct said buildup. Best to get a PH and EC/PPM measuring tool to help you. Not 100% needed but can help a lot when guessing.

Hi, coco is a great choice it’s really nice to work with. Keep in mind though that coco is completely sterile, meaning it doesn’t contain any nutrients for your plant. During the first week, the seedling will survive on its own reserves, but after that you should carefully start feeding. 👉 Use a spray bottle to moisten the coco – it should always stay damp, but not so wet that water runs out. Since I don’t know which nutrient setup you’re using, here’s a solid base recommendation: A root stimulator like Canna Rhizotonic or Atami Bcuzz* A Cal-Mag supplement (Calcium & Magnesium) Coco A + Coco B nutrients I usually prepare a nutrient solution and lightly moisten the medium with it. The exact amounts depend on your fertilizer brand, so always check their feeding chart. 💡 Alternatively, you can also use BioTabs they make things especially easy for beginners since you don’t need to worry about pH or EC values. Here’s a little discount for BioTabs: https://biotabs.nl/en/ Code: GDBT420 Happy growing & good luck! ✌️
