Non-oscillating fan in small grow box: good enough for now?

Hey growers! 🌱 I’ve got a 9-speed USB fan (quite strong but not oscillating). For now I point it at the wall so the airflow bounces back on the seedling. Any better way to position it in the box until I upgrade to an oscillating fan later? 🤔

Hi, Fans that only blow in one direction instead of rotating can really dry out the leaves in a grow tent . I made this mistake myself before and can definitely recommend not setting it up that way. Maybe you have the chance to put in a cheap household fan instead? They don’t cost much and can make a big difference for your plants. Also keep in mind: later in flowering, this setup can cause your buds to stay too moist, which increases the risk of budrot. Happy Growing

Your setup will work for now. Air circulation is very important, doesn’t necessarily have to be an oscillating fan. A fan you can clip on a corner bar that is adjustable will do just as well.

Totally fine for now, it's the extraction that matters most as they start to get bigger. You've got to have airflow, man...or it will end up with light burnt leaves from moisture /condensation buildup during the night cycle and under top touching leaves during the grow cycle. Like you see happening a LOT on here. Quality extraction solves all that. Hope it helps. Didn't see a diary for this yet. I'd be keen to follow along if you do make one.
