I’m leaving for a month at the end of august so i want to ask you seasoned growers How long until harvest ? It’s a lemon AK from fastbuds i know it’s a heavy sativa leaning strain so it might take longer to finish but right now she’s in mid/late bloom. Thanks for your help

you are just starting to see plumping of calayxes... you have weeks left. some finish faster than others, so it's hard to give any specific guesstimate. 3 weeks? maybe 4 weeks? Another 2+ weeks to fatten up and look right, then another 1-2 weeks to see the amount of amber in the trichomes to warrant a harvest. do you ahve a friend or neighbor that can help? How long are you gone? (rhetorical) ... the last 5-10 days if teh plant is healthy someone just needs to add some water to the pot.. and if it need sto be chopped down they can cut it and hand the entire plant... as long as you get back before 10-14 days after hanging the plant, all is well... Assuming drying area isn't too hot / low RH, in which case drying time will be shorter.

How long has she been flowering for? I see lots of fresh pistils that normally indicate it's still bulking up, but it looks like there are some older bits inside the flower. If you wait for the fresh bits to be ready, the flower inside may stat to degrade, but I can't see well enough to be 100% sure. If all is well, she has at least 2 weeks to go, so hopefully done just before you leave, but have you thought about how you are going to dry and cure if you're away for a month, someone will have to help. Drying normally takes 10 to 14 days ideally and then you need to trim and jar it and burp for the first week or 2. If you leave it to dry for a month, you'll probably end up with really dry bud and lose a lot of terps/flavor. Hopefully you have someone that can help

Hi, you’ve grown a really beautiful plant congratulations! Normally, ripeness is checked by looking at the trichomes on the calyx, since the trichomes on the sugar leaves mature faster. Based on your pictures, and if you don’t have the possibility to check the trichomes with a microscope, I’d say she still needs at least 2 more weeks. The leaves don’t look autumn-like at all yet. I’d maybe start by cutting out the nutrients.
