keep it dark, mid 60F and roughly 60% RH. As best you can.
Don't need a tent. that can make certain things more difficult - e.g. RH the first day or 3 can build up much more easily in a small tent than a small room. Should not have a breeze constantly overdrying the buds. circulation in the 'room/tent' is fine, but shouldn't be directed at the buds - which is what happens in a tightly closed space with a fan more times than not. Plus, no need for an extractor if you just use a small room to hang the buds unless you have several pounds drying, lol.
Keep it simple.
Dark.
Cool. (60s F)
60% RH.
The rest is mostly insignificant. do for personal convenience, otherwise. If you can't recreate this exact climate, it'll still be fine. This should give you a 9-12 day dry for anything but ginormous, thick buds. Maybe 14 days if you hang the whole plant? The key is not to dry super fast. I wouldn't go longer than 12-14 days.
you can do things that further impact length of drying times. Wet trim will speed it up slightly. Hanging entire plant will slow it down slightly etc etc... you have a few ways to fine-tune it.
