No doubt having a nice big stirry vortex would maybe speed up the process, but for all the hassle of creating the magnetic stir thing to speed up the proceess 25%, I could just buy a 2nd bucket for 3.99 and make 2x as much 25% slower in the same time frame, potatoe, potato.

Luckily, fermentation doesn't really care if there is motion or not, just oxygen. Seems a little overkill, just run an oxygen line into the water on one side, that will keep enough motion to keep everything mixed up and oxygenated.

I have a good amount of plumbing experience and I still don't feel like tackling the vortex brewer because they are a little complex. You could nail it or it could be a very difficult and expensive learning process. I have a link to the brewer i made for my setup and does a really good job and takes and hour to make at the most. . I didn't glue any of it together so that i can putt it apart to clean. I also use it as just a water aerator, and i have my water reservoir's air pump set on a timer to go off every 20 mins for a few minutes to keep my water from going stagnate. www.youtube.com/watch
