Hey Growmie, when your drying tent runs too hot, it can really mess with your harvest — terpenes evaporate, smell fades, and buds dry too fast, which can leave them harsh or grassy. Here are a few things you can try to bring those temps down: 🔧 What you can do: Move the tent to a cooler room if possible. Basements are great, attics are usually way too hot. Dry during the night when temps are naturally lower. Use a timer to run your fans only at night if needed. Frozen water bottles near the intake – simple DIY trick, but it can drop the temp a couple degrees. Turn your fans down a bit – strong airflow can heat things up. Just make sure there’s still enough air moving to avoid mold. Keep any dehumidifier outside the tent – they push out warm air. No lights in the tent during drying — even small ones add heat. If nothing works, you can always go old-school and dry in paper bags in a cooler, dark room. Slower is better than too hot and fast. Goal = cool, dark, and slow. Rushing the dry = lost flavor and smell. Take your time and your buds will reward you! 🌿🔥 Congrats on the harvest & happy drying! ✌️

I'd recommend buying another exhaust fan, assuming you have one already but if not then that's your solution.

If you don't have AC you simply do nothing. It'll dry faster. KEep RH around 60% at the least. if you can't or won't get an AC there's nothing you can do about it. Moving air around with a fan does not cool the air. Direct wind will increase drying rate, which is not what you want. Circulation in room is good but no direct wind should be on your buds. As long as it doesn't dry within 2-3 days it won't be so bad. Might lose some of the more volatile terps sooner than later but those don't last long anyway. Molecules with much lower BP will be the most impacated.

air flow. but best is to treat the air outside the tent and so when it pulls air into the tent its alreay good to go. Most ppl have AC if not you can't do jack about it, just dry it when its hotter. I don't worry to much unless its above 30c.
