Anyone with knowledge on what causes the leaf to grow 4 tips? It had issue with spider mites early on and was fortunately treated with Neem oil. Other than that looks healthy I think!

Hey 👋 first off, props for spotting the spider mites early and hitting them with neem – that probably saved your grow! 🕷️💥 About the 4-fingered leaf: there are a few reasons this can happen, and none of them are super serious if the rest of the plant looks healthy (which it sounds like it does): 🌱 Early stress – Things like transplant shock, light changes, or pest issues early in veg can cause weird leaf formations. Genetics – Some strains, especially hybrids, just do funky stuff now and then. A 4-finger leaf isn’t unheard of. 💡 Re-vegging signs? – If your plant got confused by inconsistent light schedules (like too much darkness or a shift from flower back to veg), that can also lead to strange growth. If the new growth looks normal, you’re totally fine. Just keep things steady – good light, environment, and feeding – and she’ll bounce right back. 🌿🚀 Happy growing & best of luck with the rest of the run! ✌️🔥

when leave 'fingers' don't progress in a normal way it can be genetcs.. could be stress or imbalance in nutes too. These plants can handle much worse.. just look at diaries with completely decimated canopies still producing decent buds, lol. Looking healthy is more important than this minor thing. Need to see your methods on more strains/seeds to determine if you are adding to the probability or not.

as the plant ages and grows it will get more and more tips. Some users can get upto 11 or 13 fingers on a leaf. I normally see 7 on mine once the plant is mature. but they start off as 1-2-3-4 when they are younger.

It does not matter and it is not an issue to have four figered leaves. Plant looks healthy, that is all that matters.............cannabis can have a huge amount of weird leaf oddities, none of them serious............one finger, two fiinger, four finger, six finger, double leaves, leaves with buds growing on them, leaves with buds growing on leaf stems............the list is endless.
