Is this good for a scrog? I know the back ones top it too high but it got too thick before I could bend it down... I plan on doing it for the back one as well. Im a brand new grower.

Is it accomplishing what you want? Then, it is a good scrog. Use it sooner and you avoid the issue with one plant being too tall to bend it down. Can still use scrog to hold it low or bend things outward with some garden wire etc. some are for training, some are for support or both. let it help you organize end-goal target. Have a plan based on finished product you want. How many colas per sq ft etc... then get there the most efficient way without wasting time/growth. More than 3 colas per sq ft rarely adds to yield... just distributes same yield among more buds, i.e. smaller buds and longer trim times. Find a happy medium... Learn to use it.. i waited a few years befoer i used on and it was a mistake. Height is a mild concern for me, too. My first scrog does the training, my 2nd scrog i want holding up the top 6" of colas... you run into floppy plants occasionally, so it's not necessary all of the time but much easier to set one up and grow into it than set one up after the fact and deal with a plant that flopped over. Also, just helps spread things out for better light absorption.

The SCROG net its self is fine. can use almost anything to do a SCROG. the plant is not yet growen into it. Want to have a branch or something in every square. to utilize the lights footprint. ideal no light should be reahcing the floor of the grow tent. Shade is ok but direct beams are a no no if you want to be a stickler about it.
