Hallo zusammen !
Das ist der erste grow in Kokos Substrat (Coco Kaya by BioBizz). Ich merke, dass die PH-Werte geringer zu sein scheinen, als in normaler Perlite / Erdmischung.
Ist das normal ?
Welcher PH-Wert sollte im optimalfall beim grow in Kokos erreicht werden ?

Hi, der PH wert solte in Kokos substrate zwischen 5.5 und 6.5 liege, wobei die 5.5 in der Wachstum phase anzustreben ist und mit dem Alter und Wechsel in die Blüte immer mehr Richtung 6.5 kommen. Wenn er aber etwas unter 5.5 liegt am Anfang ist es auch nicht so schlimm solte nur nicht unter die 5.2 kommen. Habe mal ne zeitlang in Kokos substrate a gebaut ist aber nicht so mein Fall. Ich habe lieber die normale Erde. Was bei Kokos wichtig ist, ist das du ihr immer dünger gibst da diese sehr warscheinlich steril ist. Viel erfolg

Soilless/hydro is slightly lower. I like to shoot for ~6 just so there is a little leeway above and below. Some swear by 5.5-5.8 - probably needs a little extra Ca at 5.5 vs 6.0, so it can impact your overall concentrations and ratios that you eventually settle on.
Good soilless/hydro nutes will be ph balanced and buffered. Shouldn't need to do anything, but if you do, not too big of a deal either. Above all, be religious about the minimum 10% runoff. it's what maintains the balance in the rootzone and prevents buildup. The equilibrium that results in the medium will not exactly match your formula, but the consistency is the key. From there, any issue related to nutrients is fixed with a formula adjustmnet.
