the breeder info pertaining to robusness etc is probably bullshit. they don't test these plants like that and if assuming that trait was passed down, that's just not going to be a reliable assumption.
trial and error.. the only way you could be certain is to take clones of plants that worked well, make amother, and take cuttings next grow season.
how much to vege? how much spacing? how much light in the region? these are just choices you make. start it earlier or later to adjust size etc... space them out more if they have lots of sun and time to grow. There are regional / monthly DLI maps you can reference. your local sunrise/sunset will determine when it goes into flower unless growing autos.
Unless you can dehumidify the world, there's not much you can do about mold risks outside... cut it out when you see it. Even then it's too late, lol.
