Guys, Four ladies, all in the same 11L pots, same mix, same food, and one looks like she's not doing well. Any advice? At the moment, pH 5.6. Biobizz as per feeding table. Calmag. Bio Heaven. Bio Grow. Bio Bloom. Algamic. Water pH regulated. Feeding every other day-ish.

Thanks for the details — sounds like you're doing a lot right. Since one lady is struggling while the others are fine in identical conditions, here are some possibilities and steps to consider: --- 1. pH Too Low 5.6 pH is more in the hydroponic range. For soil, optimal pH is 6.2–6.8. At 5.6, nutrient lockout can occur, especially calcium and magnesium. Solution: Raise your water/feed pH to 6.3–6.5. --- 2. Genetic Variation Even clones or same seeds can show phenotype differences. One plant may be less tolerant to pH, nutrient levels, or water retention. Solution: Adjust care slightly for the weak one — maybe water less often or more gently. --- 3. Root Health / Pot Drainage Overwatering or compact roots can suffocate one plant more than others. Check if the pot feels heavier (retains water) or lighter (dries too fast). Solution: Ensure drainage holes are clear; maybe gently inspect roots if it worsens. --- 4. Light & Air Circulation One plant might be getting less airflow or uneven light. Solution: Rotate pots regularly and ensure no plant is shaded or stuck in a humid corner. --- 5. Pests or Disease (Check Underside of Leaves) Early issues may affect only one plant at first. Solution: Inspect closely for pests, spots, mold, or root issues. --- Action Plan: 1. Raise pH to 6.3–6.5 immediately. 2. Check for overwatering or soggy soil. 3. Observe for signs of pest or fungus. 4. Give the struggling plant a bit more dry time between feeds. 5. If you're seeing specific symptoms (yellowing, wilting, brown spots), send a pic or describe for more targeted advice.

feeding every other day but does it need it? this looks like bad watering habits. You don't pick the volume nor the time increment of irrigation/fertigation. Context dictates. 1) full saturation - this should never cause a problem, if it does it is 100% caused by a poorly constituted medium. 2) allow it to dry back / lose weight 3) repeat if it is soil, allow top 1" to dry before repeating. If it is coco coir, around the time the top layer starts to dry is usually a good point. Don't let it wilt, obviously. If this is soilless, religiously get 10% runoff. Don't overthink watering. It is the simples thing to do. You give as much water as it takes to get the job done. You wait as long as it takes for the top 1" to dry or whatever is appropriate for the water capacity of your medium. If you re-irrigate at same loss of weight, it will take the same volume of water to get the job done. The time between will always be variable until the plants reach their max size -- they obviously drink faster the more they grow. fertilizer chocies are just trial and error through observing leaf symptoms and adjusting accordingly. Inductive reasoning is the devil. Use deduction. Don't start with a pre-ordained value or idea in your head. the mottling looks like behaviour-caused rather than climate or age of the leaves. Old isolated leaves that get mottled are not a problem. They don't look glossy and dark so the clawing probably isn't nute related. If it isn't happening to the others there are probably better drainage properties or simple a more robust phenotype.
