Starting a new Diary Problems

GrowDiaries can be a little buggy sometimes. If you’re getting that “Diary not saved” message, here are a few things to check: Make sure the strain name is typed exactly how it appears in their list — if it doesn’t autofill or you’re using a custom strain, make sure to select “Custom” from the dropdown. You have to choose a starting stage like “Seedling” or “Germination” — if you skip that, it won’t save. Try saving without any pics at first. Sometimes image uploads glitch out and stop it from saving. Avoid using emojis or weird symbols in the title or description — that can break it too. Also, it works better on Chrome or Firefox. If you’re on mobile, try switching to desktop mode. Finally, you might’ve been logged out without realizing it — try logging out and back in before starting over. If nothing works, try making a quick test diary with a basic strain and no pics to see if it saves. Then you’ll know if it’s something in your original setup. And that doesn't work, you'll be contacting the site and waiting for them to get back with you. Hope that helps!

You can try to talk to the growdiaries admin or email them. but more than likely something isnt filled out properly for it to save. i forget to fill out the germination date and how many seeds germinated and it wont save if thats not filled
