Hi guys 👋. Can you give me a plant diagnosis here. Correct if I am wrong, is this a calcium toxicity. Much appreciated, thanks.

Hey there great looking plant and that’s a good question identifying what’s wrong with a plant when it’s not something simple can. Inquire hard… I have run into some similar problems on grows in the past when I experimented with different nutrients…. I think your on the right track I do think you probably have it alittpe to much cal mag not sure with bone it is that is causing that but it’s definitely one or the other I also think you are lacking p and k you can see the plant starting to get lighter green Also if you look at the leaves they look kinda plump and the tips are either pointing out or slightly downwards this is definitely a sign of over watering When plants are in early flowering in the strech and right after they want a crap ton of water but after the buds really start to fourm they start to want less and less. At this time if you start giving it some time periods of drought it will really make the plant explode…. What you do is let the soil get really dry and then when the plant starts to show signs of looking underwatering then you water it and hit it with a good size dose of nutrients it will wick that stuff up almost like if a person was to inject steroids Also it’s time to ramp up you light intensity if you slowly increase the light intensity until around the end of week 7 then slowly decrease it maybe 15% over the last couple weeks Also just to be safe you should collect some run off water next time you water and check the ph it is always possible you have a slight ph problem as welll causing your plant to not get enough p and k Also keep in mind your plant will not completely come back to a nice healthy green all over you should just be happy if you can get the spread of the badness to stop and then slowly it will get greener but not very much it will just get greener around the nugs and some of the new leaves that grow like sugar leaves If your problem keeps getting worse keep posting questions. You can dm me if you have any questions or problems in the fu

Have had a look through your diary, I can't see any PH, Ec values or what nutrition your giving the plant so this is pure guess work. Looks like they need more potassium and phosphorus and less nitrogen then they have been getting and I'd be aiming for a ph around 6.0 to 6.2 around this stage.

Sorry just saw u have sec Yellow leaves can be a sign of a few things, but in deep water culture, it's often related to nutrient problems. It could be a deficiency, meaning the plant isn't getting enough of something it needs, or it could be a toxicity, meaning there's too much of something. Sometimes pH imbalances can also cause yellowing because the plant can't absorb nutrients properly when the pH is off. Do you know if you're using the right nutrient solution and keeping an eye on the pH? In dwc it’s probably not calcium toxicity because cal toxicity in dec looks like Calcium toxicity in cannabis plants can show up in a few ways. You might see the leaves turning a darker green, sometimes with a purplish or brownish tint. They can also get thick and leathery, and you might notice some curling or twisting. It's also possible to see yellowing between the veins of the leaves, while the veins themselves stay green. To me in dwc it sounds like it could be sulfur toxicity. The yellowing starts in the center of the leaves and spreads outward, and the veins usually turn yellow or bronze or red. It's not super common, but it can happen if there's too much sulfur in the nutrient solution. Good luck check if you’re starting to have root problems and getting the nasty looking roots that could be the problem. Always adding something like hydro hairs to your resivour can do wanders to keep a plant healthy and even keep nutrients in bal

Hey man, just wanted to say sorry ,I totally missed that you’re running DWC. I deleted my previous answer since it was based on soil logic. With DWC and that kind of fade showing up in week 4 of flower, it’s definitely not calcium toxicity ,and it’s way too early for a natural fade. This looks more like magnesium deficiency, probably triggered by pH drift or maybe EC being a bit off. I’d check your reservoir pH and EC right away. If things are out of range, best move is a full rez change with a fresh, balanced mix. Add a bit of CalMag and make sure your pH is sitting steady around 5.8–6.0. You still have time to correct it and let her bulk up. Hope that helps and again, my bad for the mix-up earlier.

Trinidad, looking at your diary, the symptoms—interveinal yellowing and burnt tips—suggest a potassium deficiency rather than calcium toxicity. Calcium toxicity typically presents as leaf edge necrosis and irregular spotting, which doesn't align with your plant's current condition. Given your use of Terra Aquatica nutrients and hydroponic setup, it's possible that nutrient uptake is being affected by pH fluctuations or EC levels. Ensure your pH is within the optimal range for hydroponics (5.5–6.5) and monitor EC to prevent nutrient lockout. Adjusting your nutrient solution to address potassium levels should help rectify the issue.
