Alright, let's talk about the signs that your marijuana plant is ready to switch to the flowering stage. First up, size matters. You generally want to flip when your plant is about half the final size you want it to be. This is because it'll stretch quite a bit during the first few weeks of flowering, sometimes even doubling in size. Another thing to consider is the number of nodes. A node is where a branch grows out of the main stem. You'll want to see at least 5-7 well-developed nodes before flipping. This shows the plant is mature enough to handle the stress of flowering. You should also take a look at the overall health of your plant. It should have a strong, sturdy stem and be a vibrant green color. If it's showing signs of nutrient deficiencies or other problems, it's best to wait until it's healthier before flipping. Finally, think about your grow space. You don't want your plant to outgrow its home during flowering. If space is limited, you might want to flip a bit earlier. If you have plenty of room, you can let it veg a little longer for a bigger yield.

Way too early to flip. The plants are still too small and the tent is way too empty. You should let them veg at least 1–2 more weeks and fill much more space before switching. Otherwise you’ll end up with tiny yields. Be patient, it’s worth it!

Hey growmie, not quite yet , give it about a week. Let them fill out more, stack a bit of leaf mass, and recover from the training. They’re close, but flipping now might stunt yields Just keep tying and feeding, and hit that switch once they bulk up a little more. You’ll thank yourself later. See you in a week ✌️♥️

Hey there yes you should be able to flip the plant into flower and it will do ok Although if you let it grow out a little bit in each branch and don’t cut off the fan leaves Okay, here's the deal with flipping your plant to flower. You'll want to switch the light cycle to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. This tricks the plant into thinking it's fall, and it'll start producing buds. It usually takes about 8 to 10 weeks to fully flower, but some strains can take longer. You'll know it's ready when the little white hairs on the buds start turning brown and curling inwards.
