I'd buy a different brand of fertilizers, but you should be able to make just about anything work if it provides a well-balanced diet.
Soil is all trial and error. if using something like FF ocean forest, you may not need to fertilize for several weeks. Watch for plant to show hints of deficiency, take not of how long that is to pre-empt it in future and slowly ramp up at that point. You supplement what the soil provides so it's a little at first then more later on. I'd start with 1/4 to 1/2 strength of instructions. Observe and adjust from there... take note of when you need to ramp up fertilizer over time and create a plan for future plants to pre-empt any symptoms in future.
if you change soils, you have to re-learn that process. Different soil may have different starting content or different balance, so it may run out of things on a different schedule than Ocean Forest etc.
I don't recall ff trio fertilizer having enough calcium, so you have to buy a product to add calcium to provide a complete diet. That was the first brand i bought and by my second grow i moved away from it rather than use up the bottles.
