not the best idea to cut things off an autoflower -- you have limited vegetative growth and no control over it.
If you take off a little nub, not much of a loss. If you take off 2-3 nodes of growth, that's lost yield more times than not. Better to train it in a good shape. DLI and canopy = yield. Training just distributes it more evenly across plant.

When do you start topping? Photoperiods need to LST? Can ya'll just go look at my diary and tell me if my ladies look like they should LOL.When to top or LST? Do these look stunted? I'm super curious about methods for best yield. I'm already worried my girls are leggy (but I've gotten some great advise already to let them rest but also give them bigger pots soon). Fuck. First week of 12-12 and I almost accidentally top this plant. Broke the stem enough to cause it to bleed on one side. Think it will hold/heal?Accidentally broke one side of this stem while attempting LST through a lattice. My idea was, instead of simply topping, to bend the plant downwards into the lattice to keep it down. Problem I'm trying to solve is plants keep growing too close to lights. Thoughts? ✌️
