Slow growth

I have two growing identical varieties I planted them at the same time, the 1st days of growth they were identical, but over time one of them began to outgrow the other. Could it be just a genetic problem? Can another plant catch up with the other one over time?

just differentn growth patterns dictated by genetics and your environment... you can train and shape the plants to level out the resulting canopy. It isn't a genetic problem. it is genetic variety. If you want consistency you'll need to use clones of a single plant. If it's bushy and the other is tall, they will not change from that default.
