Trim wet or dry?

I remove the big useless leaves during the last days before harvesting. But I don't trim sugar leaves at all, because I only use dry herb vaporizers or make bubble hash.

Dry trim. Buds dry better with the leaves on. Also, with dry trimming, most of the water will evaporate out through the leaves rather than through the buds as when you wet trim. Having all the water evaporate through the buds alone can cause terpenes to diminish and THC to break down too. So, dry trimming preserves terpenes better and maintains cannabinoid quality better too. I tend to only dry trim as required, rather than dry trim the whole harvest at once. If you are careful and think about what you are doing, trichome loss/damage is minimal.

I wet trim. I don't keep my keif (I only grow a couple of autoflowers at any one time and so don't have a lot of trimming to do) and so would rather have as many trichs stay on my buds as possible. If you dry trim, do it over a tray or a bucket or something that is covered with a screen to keep out the larger pieces of leaves and then rattle the screen around so you're collecting up the keif in the bucket/bowl/tray/whatever to use it in edibles or to "crown the bowl" .... wet or dry trimming is a personal preference.... try it both ways... see which one you prefer! Personally I do both I trim roughly when wet and tidy it up once dry I find this way better for me wet trimming seems to improve and decrease drying time slightly 💚🙏💚
