Plant leaves are dying changed the smell of the plant as well very crispy and dry leaves

What can be the reason behind this I had overwatered and it’s been four-five days and it’s still wet could that be the reason the leaves are dying and will this affect the potency.

Looks like your grow medium is rotting from too much water and the plant doesn't have enough leaves to transpire the excess water in the medium. This can lead to rot and possibly fungal/mould infection in the medium. For fungal infections I use diluted bleach. 1 part bleach 9 parts water. You should be able to smell if you have mould or fungal, see if the roots have a "pond scum" smell.

Hard to tell from photo alone, looks close to death from starvation, most problems are environmental. Doesn't look like regular cannabilism. Most likely rot from stagnated water in the medium. Yes it will destroy your weed.

Maybe many things sorry. Smells and looks dying and that, could be bud rot. Ask GrowingGrannie, she is best at rotten things, most of her grows in fact. About time she put some effort in and not rely on a clone to answer better and more correctly
