I have a piece of 2M*2M transparent plastic sheet hanging as a canopy in the air half a meter to a meter above the ground.can I put the plants under the plastic sheet at night to keep warm？

Won't keep them warm so to say so much but will stop the frost from destroying the leaves unless it freezes where you are again.

Yes, this would be considered a DIY greenhouse. A greenhouse is nothing more than an object used to regulate humidity heat so plants are grown and that's exactly what the 2M sheets are doing.
