You could use compost for a vegan meal for the plants and create it yourself if you have the space and land. I've also seen a vegan pelletized food for cannabis as well, it was more of a marketing gimmick and was grossly over priced. most liquid hydro nutes are vegan but they do come with their own pros and cons. I don't know if I'm misreading your question. did you yourself have side effects from using the nutrients or did the plants? and was it a side effect from consuming the plants or was it from exposure to the powered nutrients? few things that may help. plants that consume animal waist will not be any different from ones that consume vegan waist in terms of allergies after consuming them or them having reactions from a good quality controlled fertilizer like Gaia Green, soil microbes break all that down to basic elements and compounds the plants take it up and rebuild into their own. If the plants where not doing well from them, I'd say that might have been user error or other environmental conditions. to wet soil, no airflow, PH, pathogens/pests present before, exct. As for a reaction to the nutrients themselves, I can confirm they can be dispersed in the air in very fine particles quite easily. A reaction to the fertilizer be it low is not out of the question at all. I'd recommend proper protective equipment, like gloves, eye protection and most importantly a well fitted mask, ideally a n95 or equivalent. I mix my Gaia Green into my plants outside and water them a bit before bringing them back inside to reduce any problems, I also wear an n95 and gloves then wash up to prevent any cross contamination issues. be cautious with the definition of vegan on products as it varies from place to place and I don't think it has any strong standards in horticulture. Check labels and confirm it matches your beliefs. Best of luck.

thanks for your replies growmies, this is great information for my research. with the buffet as imentioned it was half dose top feed power bloom to cover 2 weeks, one week water, 4 months (1 week tiger bloom 1-3 days water), got a bit experimental, added the power bloom top feed in half dose on the very last days before harvest, newbie move. next time i am flushing for sure, and with the tiger bloom i went full dose every time, might be why my red hairs were so hairy = over fed, just FYI for the readers. I like the idea of rock minerals, i looked into the gaia rock dust blend, but considering i am experimenting with coco, alot of excellent resources was talking about CalMag, apparently it can be used right until final flush. I also have an all purpose root booster, but its a concentrate, sort of need to learn more about plant nutrients . thanks again everyone.

Check out Kyle Kushmans Vegamatrix range... He is one of the legends that started Oaksterdam University. They are quite expensive though. Bio nova do a vegan range that look pretty good but not many people have used either on here so hard to make a judgment. If you need to use vegan nutrient then those are your best bet

You could continue with Gaia green product line up: just dump the power bloom (I am using it myself too) ..just go with mineral and plant base meals they carry, like rock phospahte, alfalfa, kelp. I have use with success in the past *Incredible Bulk* vegan organic dry amendments mix from Amazon. Great product but overpriced. I am using mineral potassium sulphate (Amazon) to supply extra K, cheap, efficient and safe for living soil.
