Just a !WARNING! about, BAYER ADVANCED.. their parent company is Monsanto, I'd try something Natural/Organic like, Neem Oil.. a lot of, BAYER ADVANCED is also systemic, witch means that it bonds with the plant(s) cells & renders it !UNSAFE! to ingest/smoke!! Stay Safe. 420PHIL.

I try always try to prevent bug by growing some dille and garlic next to plant as anti bug. Aswel as growing potatoes to atract them( and then put as far away from your plant as possible. This keeps them away reasonably from my plant, yet this is outdoor theory so im not sure i counts for u aswell
