Who knows their soil ecosystems? Do beneficial or harmful gasses escape or intrude soil when the top layer is broken?I'm using nectar for the gods I'm starting to get a chalky crust on the top layer of my soil. So, when I water. Seedling fell/bent due to fan wind. Will it survive?I found today my Tangie XXL seedling didnt withstand the fan and fell over. Will it be ok?I added a small stick and tied it up to the stem to give it some support. Ive also covered with soil the point where the stem bent. Any advices?

What are the cheap and effective ways you do to prevent rot?
