How to dry the trim or should I just freeze it?

I've never heard of someone taking the time to dry the trim. I just freeze it. Seems to me if it's dry, you will just get more plant material in your hash or butter or whatever.

How do I stop the fresh cut grass smell?I have done a couple of grows but keep getting the fresh cut grass smell instead of that nice smell. Am I cutting down to early? Help!! Do I harvest?About 50% milky, 40% clear trichome heads. But in some minor spots, they are all dark brown/amber. Its supposed to be a Forbidden Cherry Automatic (Dutch Passion), but did not turn purple. I want it to be a bit more relaxing, indica-like. Week 11, outdoor balcony grow.
