Hello everyone! first time growing and I have a doubt. Should I defoliate my plants? Please check them on week6 in my diary. It´s the first time I grow and even though I know not always it´s a good idea I feel that there are a lot of big fan leaves hidding the future buds. TY!

Hey friend, You don’t need to defoliate at this age.Let them grow happily.Recommend to defoliate at the start of flowering circle and again at 3rd week of flower or at the end of stretching period.At that time, you will know which one to remove and which one to leave for maximizing your final yield.Happy growing... ✌️

Okay thanks. Yes, maybe they are a little bit short, they are starting to flowering, I can see the white hairs there. Maybe the light was too low because I didn´t want them to strech uselessly. I am counting 6 week since they germinated. I could also put the lights a little bit higher.

Looking at the size/stage of your autoflowers, i wouldnt defoliate em more than 1-2 leaves per plant and only if they are really doing some serious shading. Try to tuck leafs that are shading your buds. Also if u havent yet, remove the few tops per each plant, the bottom ones, the smallest ones in the darkest places that would never develop. week6 your autos still not flowering btw? whats up with that i wonder.

Your plants seems a bit small to be 6 weeks old, I guess they still have to stretch. I would wait a bit, leafs are needed to grow!!

Sequence in the # of leaves points alterated?I have always seen Cannabis showing a constant patter in the leaves sequence.
After the cotiledona, they have first 1 point only , then 3, then 5, then 7 and so on, with Indica normally up to 7-9 and sativas up to 9+.
