Does keeping my autoflower in the dark for 48hours at the end make any difference before harvest?

I have tested this a while back and my conclusion is that it works for some auto’s , not for all.

I tried without, with 24 hours of darkness, and with 24 hours of darkness AND a bag of ice right on the soil to melt down and cool.
I do the last one now. No proper evidence, but lots of local growers do it and honestly it made mine a lot heavier and stickier. Maybe its just water rention in the buds and it dries back out, god knows. But I do both now. Lol

Hey I just read the article on this on this website and there is no evidence for or against it. The only thing it said if you do, do this you will have to watch them closely for mold. Mold grows much faster in the dark.

When to harvest?Beginner question:
Would you say this is ready to harvest soon or should I wait some more? Leaves turning autumn colors, 3/4 of pistils turned orange.
Trichomes look rather clear, but some on the head bud are amber already.
RQS says 8-9 weeks. Starting week 9 soon.
