How can I fix high runoff EC and pH?

EC high (0.2ms/cm in, 0.6ms/cm out), pH runoff a little high (6.71 in, 7.18 out). Yellowing of leaves moving up plant, followed by yellowing between the veins on new growth. Help please!! Had issues with this one for a while so last fed 2 days ago with 1ml/l of Biobizz

Hey Buffy, it looks like you are having a host of deficiencies right now. I'm not used to reading the EC measurements in the way you formatted it. Would that be 200 and 600? Anyway If I were you I'd flush the hell out of the plant until run off ph matches the proper range. Then do a feed. This will flush out all nutrients in the soil as well as excess salts. Once you have the ph where you want it give it a regular feed with proper ec/ph. The idea is that you are flushing out the problems and resetting the plant. When you feed the plant after the flush make sure the run off matches your ec/ph goals. Sometimes resetting the slate is the best way to get the plant back on track. Keep in mind this is not always the best thing to do especially later in flower, but looking at your pics its what I would do.

hi cody is right, you have a ph issue going on that is causing the lock out, flush the plant until your run off is at a 6.0 let you pot dry out a day or two and feed the plant half of the nutrients you have been giving. add cal mag and watch for improvements in the new growth and up coming weeks. hope this helped

The schedule and timing is why I suggest going light.. If you spike the EC I feel like you may be leading into later phases of flower anyway and may not see the benefits of added nutrients because your plant will start to slow down on intake/transpiration. naturally. Either way.. It's your flowers it's your plant. Best of luck.

So we've given you two different opinions here Buffy, and that's okay. From the pictures it looks like the plant is missing what it needs in order to not be having all these deficiencies. To understand how EC changes between fertigation events, it is important to consider what happens to each. Remember, plants do not absorb nutrient solution “through a straw” or “like a sponge”. Water and salts (fertilizers) are taken up by the plant separately. Under normal conditions, water is removed about four times faster than salts are absorbed. As a result, the EC of the nutrient solution in the media will rise between fertigation events. So even if the EC going in is low, the EC will rise in between fertigation. You're free to try what Harbringer suggests and see how the plant reacts.. but it really looks like you have multiple deficiencies going on at the same time from my perspective.. and If It were me I'd just reset the slate altogether. I'd do the flush and then feed right away so the plant isn't sitting there missing what it needs for even longer. You could even flush and then do a light feed instead of going with 1000 EC right off the bat.. but 1000 EC isn't even that high. Most nutrient mixes at full strength are 2x that.. Refer to this reference to diagnose and come to a solution on your own. Based off the information that we have both given you. https://www.growweedeasy.com/5-step-solution-to-most-cannabis-growing-problems

Do not feed 1k it will not help your finished flower at all and may negatively affect your product.. Something happens in Flower called senesence.. Read into it. When the plants put all there energy into making buds they stop putting nutrient priority to leaves.. Your plant is smallish. A feeding of 500 would be more beneficial. And in all honestly having read your diary I think your honestly just feeding too much.. Think about balance and light feedings.. Everything your plant will intake at this point will be transported to buds.. Your leaves will show the excess but you can have beautiful flowers and still have nutrient saturated buds from overdoing it. Flushing doesn't change much because in the late stages of the life cycle the plant naturally slows intake and grows slower.

@CodyCannabis - Yes you're right the EC values are 286 and 634, it was just me thinking everyone works in units of us/cm 😳 When I did the ph/EC test i purposely used plain water, so given what you said about reccomended EC values (over 1k) should I be seeing a much higher EC even if what I put in is low (200)? I'll do what you said and flush then feed nutrients at a much higher dosage. Should i wait a few days after flushing or do it at the same time? Thanks for all your help 😀 seriously stressing over this right now 😩

Oh and if the ec values are 200 and 600 those are super low especially if you were using soil for the run, and the plant is far enough along that the nutrients are depleting in the soil. In flower you'd definitely have EC numbers over 1k to give your plant what it needs. I usually try to keep my EC @ ~1200 in and then just check EC during each watering to keep it in the correct range.. too high and give more water to flush excess too low and give more water to raise ec lol.

Strange leaves on seedlingHi everyone, I started those two a day later than the others, the cotyledons grew normal but the first set of leave is quite strange. The leaves don't grow opposite, but point on the same side... there are also some yellowish spot on them. I put a photo of the others to compare.
