I will start to do the same thing with 9.2l air pot ( thats the size that i find in my country) in a same dimension box, for sure with regular seeds/clones it will be great with a good airflow at the pot level cause they will take like 90% minimum of the grow area . With autos all stays in genetics and abilities in my opinion. Thats my opinion, probably I will start with an auto grow meanwhile some mothers grow, so I will know much about this topic in a few months. Hey Growmie, Anything is possible, a 3x1x5 tent isn't enough space for 8 plants. I have a 4x2x5 grow tent and 4 autos inside of it can get pretty crowded. I tried growing 7 in my last grow cycle and it was chaos and not much difference in yield either. So with 3 to give each plant adequate space and light to grow. It could be done. But you'll probably get the same yield as if you only grow 4 or 6. That said, I wanna try filling up my 100x100x200cm tent with 0.5 or 1 liter pots at some point, so I'm not really one to talk. lol
