Hey Growmie, Examine the nodes of the plant and look for either the early growth of small sacs on a male or two bracts on a female, which will eventually produce the hair-like stigma. Hopefully, this was helpful and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"

google Bract - pistil - stigma - marijuana. lots of pictures. a bract is the thing that plumps up. pistil is the skinny green part near top and stigma projects out of the pistil. These may not come out in vege, but typically do show at some point on more mature plants -- if the nodes start growing asymetrically, they'll likely show soon if not. now, you will find 'preflowers' at any node. A male part (stamen / anther) will look similar early on. it will eventually grow out on a stem-like projection from the nook.. this is a major difference in addition to the white projecting hair of famale bits (stigma). "grapes" are bad.. if it stays a little nub firmly in nook of node, then projects a hair, it's good.
