I brought in a bin of my vegetable garden soil from last season. Very nice stuff - worms and organics, I ran some water through it ph 6.57 runoff.
** The only thing I am concerned about is these little sacs of spores or pollen ( not sure ) **

Soil Bluetooth MeterI just got a soil meter for measuring soil temp, fertilizer, moisture & lux. I’m not Sure if it’s working right cuz I just watered the day before yesterday & added nutrients. The lux makes since but I’m still not sure what the numbers mean including the fertilizer data given.

FlushingShould flushing have any runoff? Also how will they react when I flush and the pH has been to high? Was 7 and I put 6.1, 1.7L, got around 0.3L runoff. Also one girl isn't drinking, been 3 days and still wet whilst the others want more. Should I harvest her? Thanks

TransplantingI just transplanted yesterday into 5gallon pots, do they look ok ? I dropped Runtz onto itself. The others seemed okay even though soil went everywhere. Not sure what to do to make sure all the roots & plant are healthy still. Any suggestions?

Why should the tap root grow for some days before potting?Not a problem, but I'm eager to learn: Most tutorials recommend to let the tap root grow to about 2.5 cm before potting. Does anybody have a rationale for that? To me this sounds counter-productive (light protection for roots, correct orientation of seed). What am I missing?Week 1

Mesh plastic pots and root health?Is using these mesh plastic pots going to give me issues with lights getting to the roots for young seedlings? I plan to transplant into fabric pots well before they fill these up with roots, but they will likely be in these mesh plastic pots for 2ish weeks.

Root Knot Nematode? Larvae? I think it killed this seedling.I found some type of critter crawling around what was left of the root of a dead seedling. Hey Guys, So I've been putting house and gardens amino treatment and root accelerator gold into my res and now I'm paranoid I have root rot. res is hella cold at 63 usually and they don't seem to be slimy aside from the gunk on them that I think is those additives. Is it normal?5y ago
