@OldDrGreen, Hi there! It's our internal team are the ones who judge. The initial criteria is a well grown plant with a good quality picture. The rest is up to the team to select. There always be some subjectivity here but we try our best to avoid it. Have a great day!

I can't understand who judges the competitions or what criteria they use... it seems like a rigged thing to me..

And thanks for dedicating your time to this. 👊 Since we are in the Photo of the Month section - whats wrong with the winners here? The reality is - there are many really nice pictures and it's really hard to choose the ones that would be accepted by everyone since the thing is quite subjective. But we do our best!
