TamedFire My girlfriend purchased the Banana Cake seeds from In House Genetics and I traded her a seed of mine for one of hers. She planted two of them and I cloned the one that grew the most vigorous. I cut the top off and used rooting powder after shaving the sides. I placed it directly in the FFOF soil and used a gallon milk jug with the top cut off to place over the top for humidity. I sprayed the plant itself and the inside of the milk jug to keep the humidity high and keep the clone from wilting. I slowly reduced the amount of time it spent under the humidity dome until her roots started doing the job.

TamedFire Super excited that the clone took root and is thriving now. Has some weird mutations on the leaves that originated on the mother. Nothing to be concerned with though.

TamedFire I didn't document the first transplant from the solo cup to this half gallon container and both of these are my first time transplanting anything. Much easier than I expected and the plant did not suffer any stress whatsoever both times. She seemed relieved if anything that she could stretch her legs out more. Dirty little girl.

TamedFire It's going to get cramped in the tent. I have two seedlings going alongside this as well as the GSC that was finishing up. This will be my most difficult LST job so far keeping everything nice and tight. At this point you can notice the leaves starting to turn a little yellow in between the veins. This is called interveinal chlorosis and is caused by a lack of iron or magnesium. Going 7 weeks with no nutrients is the absolute limit I found out. You will notice in the following weeks the interveinal chlorosis and when the nutrients are added how it goes away and starts looking amazing again.

TamedFire The picture taken from the top of the plant shows the interveinal chlorosis the best from what I was explaining in the last weeks comments. The next couple weeks it will disappear.

TamedFire Interveinal chlorosis getting cleaned up just before the flip. It's always important to make sure the plant is healthy before flipping to flower. Next week will be the first week of flower.

TamedFire Finally the week has arrived. There are two favorites that I have with growing. The part where I LST and train and the part where I flip to flower and get to enjoy them grow and smell them.

TamedFire Pushing the nutrients this week hoping to see a little bit of yellowing at the tips. I tend to rely less on the ppm readings and more on what the plant is telling me. PPM readings can be an unreliable source but are good guidelines.

TamedFire Flowers are getting nice and thick now at the end of week 6 flower. Shaking the stems lightly below their tops gives the impression of dense and solid flowers.

TamedFire Is it harvest time yet? I found this strain for the interest of my girlfriend whose two favorite strains at the time were Banana OG and Wedding Cake. She was so interested she bought a pack and I had to clone one.....and will most definitely clone more.

TamedFire I achieved the yellowing of the tips on the leaves and started lowering the PPM's at the beginning of this week. I believe it was the addition of the Overdrive that did it. Now to slowly bring them back down and prepare for the flush. Although I must say I am having a hard time with flushing now that conflicting data that came from a recent study where pot users preferred cannabis that was not flushed in a blind taste test.

TamedFire One more week and then she should be finished.
I don't recommend strains that often but if you get a chance to run her...do it. She has a nice OG flavor on her from the Banana OG cross. She yields pretty darn good too. I have another one I am running right now that is even better and looking forward to creating the diary with her. The high is very heavy and night time use only. If I smoke during the day I end up taking naps. This is probably the main reason we like her so much. Sleeper weed.

TamedFire Delicious. I have more phones of this strain that I will run and share the results.
