Dark Devils first grow - amateur hour

weed_be_thy_medicine Vegetation started, I have started to feed 1/3 of vegetation nutrients

weed_be_thy_medicine I’ve now hit the last vegetation feed for these pretty devils. I have topped the second one so I can compare harvest yields. Starting to flower so will push to 750w. Was starting to show deficiencies.. so this week I have give the full dosage on.

weed_be_thy_medicine They have shot up since a week ago. The main one not topped is starting to flower well and showing purple undertones I’m now using the flowering nutrients but have started on half the dosage required for the week, will have to see the deficiency is not spreading

weed_be_thy_medicine Full confession, I over fertilised last week and by that I mean I stuck to exact dosage which I think is too much for the auto’s I also added the exact dosage (5ml) using C-result booster Leaves yellowed, a lot of the bottom fanning leaves gone - but I don’t think too damaging. This week I have halved the recommended dosage. Starting to purple very nicely on the one that hasn’t been topped. Not seeing same purple tones on the topped one.have introduced PK now Starting to smell a little and trichomes coming through nicely

weed_be_thy_medicine They look ready. Starting to smell pungent :). Colour is coming out beautifully.. Last week of feeding, flushing Wednesday and harvesting Friday hopefully. Gave normal dosage of nutrients

weed_be_thy_medicine I said first grow, I lied. I it is however my first successful grow :). I had tried but didn’t get far before, so I did my research chose a popular strain and am a happier man for it, it’s such a rewarding feeling being able to grow bud on a level I know I would buy myself. (Long time consumer) In truth the plant grew itself, but I had hoped to harvest more, however I think this was less to do with seed/strain and more to do with me. Main issue was I couldn’t close the tent up fully due to hp light.. What was interesting was to able to do a small experiment as I did two.. I pulled 12 grams off 1 plant but the one I topped did 24 and a bit.. Needless to say I’ll learn to top better going forward. Shout outs to growmie Jayler for advice.. very cool, friendly helpful community here 😎 I’ve been bitten by the bug and looking forward to my next grow soon with upgraded kit :)
