CocoExperiments Hey growers, this is my first time ever growing cannabis and I've decided to post it here so I can hopefully get some help from the community, so feel free throw in any tips! I'll be trying to update daily.
I'm using the "grand master grower level" kit by advanced nutrients.
Growing on Canna Coco Professional +, 2x2 / 60x60 tent with a heating matt and a cheap small humidifier I bought on the chinese shop.
First 24h: Water cup. Kept tapping on them until they sinked to the bottom after a couple of hour intervals.
Day 2: Planted them with the little tap root just poking out on 45% Perlite / 55% Coco ( My first jiffy try was a failure, so I just decided to do it this way)
Day 3 Update, mistake number 1: They both had their heads out but the shell was stuck on their head, guess I didn't plant them deep enough. I think I've managed to pull both shells out as you can see in the picture, hopefully they'll survive.
Avg. Temperature / Humidity inside the tent: 25ºC / 60%, still have not fed them anything yet but tap water 200 ppm / 6.3 pH.
Day 4 Update: Fed them with Formulex by Growth Technology today, 5ml / 1L / 364PPM / 6.5 pH, using a small 5ml pipet around the root area in the morning. When I came home they we're standing very straight and happy looking at the light, with a very nice green tone, they loved it. I might try and go for the first fertigation tomorrow depending on the 1st leaf development over the night. Currently running them under 24h/24h schedule.
Day 5: The 1st leafs developed well over night so this morning I did their first fertigation, same ppm and pH as day 4. Came home from work today and they're looking lovely.
Day 6: Still devoloping at a pretty decent pace as you can see by the picture. Fertigated again in the morning with the same amount as day 5. Tomorrow is the 1st day of advanced nutrients, kind of nervous to be mixing and diluting nutrients for the 1st time, I hope I don't kill my seedlings.

CocoExperiments Day 7: Today when I woke up I had a slight burned tip on the Gorilla (you can see in the picture). I was concerned a little at first, but decided to go on with the plans of feeding her with Advanced Nutrients as listed above. The Strawberry got fed with 469ppm and the run-off was 492ppm, sounds good to me. The Gorilla on the other hand, had more salt built up (therefore the burned tips), I fed her the same as the Strawberry but the run-off was around 572ppm, did 2 more run-offs and got her down to 480ppm. When I got home from work I got surprised at how much they grew.
Day 8: Fertigated them twice today at 9AM/9PM, with 430ppm / 6.1pH and the run-off was pretty much the same as the intake. Tomorrow I'm mixing a new bottle of Advanced Nutrients with a little Formulex (will be adding it during week 1 and 2) as listed above. Will try to increase the ppm a little more slowly this time.
Day 9: My pH meter is RIP. Since I'm using the pH perfect base nutrients by Advanced Nutrients they're supposed to keep the pH on the correct levels for you, we shall see about that. Fed them with 480ppm this morning, run-off was about the same as intake. Also after work I gave them another feed, and increased the ppm to 550, run-off was the same as the intake. Let's see if they can take it! I have also just noticed that my coco sinked down alot and my plants are quite low compared to the edge of the pot, next grow I'll put some extra!
Day 10: The feeding went great, since they grew quite nicely, but they are both showing sings of calcium deficiency today. In the morning I gave them a 550ppm / 6.5pH feeding. At night I fed them 2ml/L of Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra at 550ppm and pH around 6.0 (I'm using a pH drop test kit to measure, so I can't get super acurate readings unfortunatly). Lets see if they recover. I will keep alternating the feeding between CalMag water and my normal feeding mix. Once I start to see no signs of calcium defiency I will start to add the calcium itself to my normal veg feed mix, thats the plan!
Day 11: In the morning I fed them 600ppm / run-off was around the same as the intake. Fed them Cal-Mag Water at night, just like day 10. I've been reading about silica lately and since I have Rhino Skin by Advanced Nutrients available (even tho they don't really recommend it in their charts) the next mix I make I'm going to add some silica.
Day 12: Fed them with 600ppm in the morning, run-off was about the same as intake. When I got home from work I mixed a new bottle and added 1ml/L of Rhino Skin to the mix, fed them with 550ppm, I came back down on the ppm because the Strawberry has some yellow spots and I have some new burned tips on the Gorilla.
Day 13: I have Piranha and Tarantula by Advanced Nutrients available, in the charts they don't recommend them for veg, but after some research I think they are harmless for veg phase and they will help develop the roots even more! So today I came back up on my ppm to 600, but added Piranha and Tarantula to my mix. My plants are still yellow on the tips, which I think are from my very strong HPLED, I have it raised to 120 cm from my plants which is as far as I can go. They are still growing regardless, but not looking super good. Also I'm thinking they're having some nitrogen toxicity issues, because of the yellow tips / light burns on the tips so tomorrow I'm mixing a new bottle but I'm removing the Formulex from the mix and reducing on the CalMag a little since I don't seem to be having issues with that anymore.
DISCLAIMER: As the tittle says this is my first grow, and all the "moves" I'm making on the feeding are based on a lot of internet reading, so I just want you all to know I'm writing wtv stupidity I'm doing over here so you all can learn from it if I fail miserably.
Day 14: I'm an idiot. It's a magnesium defiency. I'm gonna start spraying them with some Cannacure today and order my new pH meter right away, since I could be having alot of pH problems which can lead to alot of magnesium deficiency problems. Fed them 500ppm in the morning, and 500 ppm CalMag water an night. I hope they recover from this. I switched them to 20/4 so I could start spraying at night without the chance of more leaf burn.

CocoExperiments Day 15: This morning before I left to work I fed them 450PPM CalMag water at 6.5 pH, and when I got home I made a new mix, added Sensizym and Carboload by Advanced Nutrients, fed them at 470ppm at around 6.5 pH, sprayed them with CalMag water at lights off. They still look quite damaged from the Mag deficiency
Day 16: Woke up this morning to some very happy plants, I think they're starting to heal up! Fed them with the new mix again. Fed with CalMag water at night.
Day 17: Fed them with the last of the mix I had in the morning, mixed in a new bottle, raised the CalMag to 1.3ml/1,5L and added 2ml/1,5L of Nirvana by Advanced Nutrients, will be feeding this at around 500ppm at night, will try to mantain pH between 6.0 and 6.5. I also decided to do some LST with fuzzysticks, everything went okay! Fed them with 570ppm at night. The Gorilla seems a little stressed out but I think overall the LST was sucessfull.
Day 18: Fed them both morning and night with the 570ppm mix. I think they're developing well.
Day 19: Since I got some burn on tips I lowered my mix to 525ppm/6.5pH. Fed them this mix at morning and night. Took off the ties for some transplantation.
Day 20: Transplanted them into their final 3 Gal. Flexapots . Raised um my ppm to 600 6.5pH at morning and night.
Day 21: Raised my ppm to 700 at day and night. They both seem to struggling a bit with nute burn but I think it's time for them to start taking in more ppm since we're almost at week 3.

CocoExperiments Day 25: I think I may have damaged me strawberry pie leafs way too much, I hope she doesn't turn hermie on me, she is growing out of control however. The gorilla on the other hand is a delightful strain to lst, it branches out amazingly. I recommend it for beginners! Feeding them 700 ppm 6.1pH atm.
