First Grow - FastBuds - Marshydro

HecticJardin My first Grow - using some organic soil Marshydro ts1000 70x70x160cm I originally planned to only do 2 Used the cup water 18th july 2100hrs (wedding cheesecake and gorilla cookies) 15hrs total 19th 1200hrs paper towel I think I let them dry out a little to much didn't have them in a bag just on paper in plate in boiler room Both into soil 22nd 0400hrs I cut a drink bottle in half and used those and lids for humidity I think it was 80 in tent and then had spray under plastic By the 24th the wedding cheesecake hadent come through and as I don't know what I'm doing I went digging for it for experience to see what happened as I assumed it had dried out too much, I found it and had it fully out in my hand thought it was dead but put it back in just incase.... The gorilla came up nicely and is the taller one in the pics. So by this point I started the girl scout in cup water 24th 0900hrs and by the 26th 0400 it was in soil, I did with paper inside plastic bag and I think this worked much better

HecticJardin I think i let soil dry out a bit much end of week 1 and stunted growth but got the soil nice and wet and then seemed to speed up after that not really sure how much I should be using but going into 3rd week I just watered with 0.5 liter for each pot I think my water is around ph7 from tap with drinking water filter I will be buying some nutrients and pH test at start of week 3 or 4 I think Not sure if they are big enough to start let yet going to wait a little

HecticJardin Just starting week 3 Should I go up to more than 0.5litre per pot per 24hrs?

HecticJardin Start of week 4 I added a little biobizz grow 1ml in 1L and out half in each pot, I was concerned that the bottoms of the pots were dried out so I got trays and added some water to the bottom of each it soaked it right up after watering and they seemed to have loved it. I've left it on 24 HR light 100% but turning it down to 25% while I sleep for around 6-8 hours at night I got a second air mover fan and I think they like it and I can keep steady 27-28 Celsius with it all closed up fans in and filter. The only outtake I have is the filter fan is this normal? I have 2 flaps open at bottom with air mover fan sucking air in and a little fan cooling the light down seems to be working pretty good, at night I've been turning the filter off and leaving the door unzipped and just held open slightly with the big fan off to try save on electricity. I plan on changing to a 18 or 20 light cycle when they start flowering? Not sure if this is right thing to do. I'm loving my first Grow so far and loving this site it has been great for fast feedbacck I feel like the short fat one o it's own is a lot more sense if been tucking leaves to let some light underneath and it really has grown taller after some nutes and moving the light up just In a day The other two are noticbly taller should I think about LST them down or can I wait a bit longer. I realise I might have a space issue and I'm not exactly sure what way to go about it.

HecticJardin It's now day #29 heading into week 5. I have a few tiny holes in the leaves but I think it's due to the big fan being on too long and some wierd genetics due to one of the plants coming back from the dead early on, no signs of bugs or pests that I can see. I will add a questions with some pics again this week. I've been adding 0.5ml of calmag every other feeding and just over a litre with grow and bloom ever 30 or so hours with a bit in the bottom drip tray the pot with two plants is definitely drinking it up much quicker. The solo I think kind of self LST itself because the thermometer fell on it early on and squashed it and it stayed short and bushy. Still really loving the grow I'm letting the water soak right up a bit more than I was before but still not sure if the bottom of the pots it's dry or not but they seem healthy enough. Also not sure about defoliation I will ask a few questions with pics but in just leaving it for now, not sure if I should take the fans and small leaves off underneath that aren't getting light and maybe some big fans near top but I don't want to stunt the growth

HecticJardin Start of week 6 Starting to see some nice buds forming really happy so far, not much smell or maybe I've got used to it. The gorilla cookies seems to be darker and has been droopy the last few days Still not sure if I'm using enough water and feel like there is dry patches in the bottom of pots, next time I will use stones or perlite at the bottom for drainage I've been feeding and then putting some water in the bottom tray too but I'm a noob and too worried about overwatering that I might even be underwatering, the two are drinking up a lot i just went up to 2 litres per 24 hours and some in the bottom tray too but I feel like the solo is taking longer to drink it up I'm only doing half that it maybe a little bit more it's hard to tell. Will update through the week with more questions

HecticJardin Starting to get a bit worried about the one that's growing weird it's around day 42 and still looks like it's veg sor wierd genetics or something? I also ran some water through the pots because I felt like it was all just building up the leaves look really dark green under different light and I've never really run a lot of water through so o get run off from the bottom it always comes out the sides of pots about half way down. I've been putting some water underneath and from the top and they been drinking it up quickly sometimes and slower others I'm not sure why. Two of them seem to be coming along nicely but I'm not sure starting to smell great and getting a little frosty and purple on one of them looks beautiful. As I said I'm concerned about the others one that's in the same pot as the purple one, I should also probably do some defoliation soon but not really sure what to take off. Any suggestions for what I should do with the one that seems to be pre flower stil?

HecticJardin It's now day #53 The purple one smells insane it's not as sticky as the the lighter one in a single pot, that one also smells amazing I think they might be ready in a couple weeks? The other one I feel is more sativa and maybe even a Hermie as it still has no smell but a lot more pistils now, plan is to keep it in even if it's in on its own when the others are done. So far still loving it and all seems to be going well, had a lot of yellow leaves at the bottom over the last few days I will update with some more pics end of the week

HecticJardin It's the start of week 9 and they are smelling amazing. I've been flushing for around a week now around 6 litres per pot every 2-3 days I'm not even sure if that counts as flushing? I feel like the one with the purple and the sativa I might need to add a light feed with nutes as it's really starting to yellow and get rust spots especially on the sativa, I've been taking off a lot of the rusted leaves not even sure if that's a good thing. Very small amount of trycomes starting on the sativa now. I'm so tempted to take a little tester off the purple one but in going to wait till end of the week atleast
