FreshCoastOrganics This Seedsman Blueberry Auto is a short girl but her growth is nice and steady. She has been very healthy these past 4 weeks and seems to be loving her medium. I’m really holding off on the nutrients since this is an Ocean Forest blend, so I probably will not fertilise until she begins to flower.
One thing I have noticed is she is very sturdy, if I were to lst I don’t even think I’d have to tie down her pain stem because it feels like it’s cemented in the soil. I have also noticed that her roots keep climbing close to the surface of the soil so I added another few cm of Ancient Forest humus to the top layer of the medium. Hopefully this helps keep her roots out of the light!
So far I’m pretty happy with her, I’m hoping she really starts to stretch out these next few weeks. Since she is so small I really don’t plan to lst or train her in anyway.

FreshCoastOrganics So far the blueberry auto from Seedsman has shown to be a fairly resilient strain. She’s growing slowly but surely which means she could end up yielding a good amont from the fabric pot. I’m not too sure how the solo cup will do as I am testing out a mixture of basically 85% perlite with 15% Ancient forest humus for water retention and microbial life. I topped the cup with about an inch of Ocean Forest from Fox Farms mixed with Canna Coco. She grew quick but has struggled with deficiencies since it’s practically a hydro setup but not quite so I have had to feed her basically from the start in order to keep her healthy and happy!
FreshCoastOrganics The two blueberry autos are coming along great! They are just now starting to fade out but trichomes for the most part are still clear and cloudy. I’m guessing these girls will be ready in about 1-2.5weeks!
When I open the door I get a really pleasant burst of a fruity cereal type smell. It’s comparable to something like crunch berries or as other growers have noticed fruity pebbles 🍓🥣
Right now I’m just feeding the girls spring water, with a little bit of Alaska humus (around 15ml/5L), molasses, fish sh!t and great white. I let this aerate for around 12-36hr.
Unfortunately while moving the pot one of the branches snapped under its own weight. The entire plant needs to be supported now as it’s leaning a good amount from the weight being packed on!
FreshCoastOrganics Well it’s week 14 and there are barely any ambers! What is this a super auto?!!
Sorry about the minimal updates, work has been hectic and both of my cats are sick so that has taken up most of my time. I will try to update more as the week goes on!
Update:
Her main cola developed white fuzzy mold overnight. During my morning checkup I spotted it immediately once my light hit the cola. It’s surprised me because the medium was almost completely dry! I decided to chop her to inspect which areas are salvageable. Unfortunately upon further inspection under the microscope I was able to determine that almost 95% of her main cola had become infected. Her main cola was so dense that it really trapped in some moisture. I was worried about this when her leaves were starting to fade but her trichomes were still cloudy. These were probably some of the densest buds I have ever grown, they were so tight and packed together the main cola was 65g alone! The smell is also way off, it completely changed from a berry cereal smell to something like blue cheese and raclette, mixed with a musty scent. Now I know for next time, that even mid 40% RH is still too high and will probably shoot for 30% and below based on how dense she is! This is really unfortunate but I guess it could be worse!
This blueberry auto is by far one of my favorite autoflowers. Her buds were just as dense as any photo period plant I’ve grown and her look, strength and smell is top shelf 👌 She became so dense actually that she developed mold just a few days before the planned chop. I learned my lesson for the next time around, keep humidity below 40% and make sure to get all dead leaves from inside the dense cola because they get trapped in there during the fade. Overall this strain really surprised me for being a freebie, I’m glad I grew it and will happily buy these seeds again for future grows!
