SpaceToast 07/03/2020 Filled a couple of Jiffy pots with Jiffy Seed Starter mix, moistened them thoroughly, and planted 1 seed 1/4 inch deep in each. Covered them with Solo cups. 07/06/2020 Both seeds have germinated. 07/09/2020 Filled two 5 gallon containers with potting mix and a few handfuls of perlite. Moistened the mix thoroughly and transplanted the seedlings into the containers. 07/16/2002 Nothing more to do this week but watch them grow.

SpaceToast 07/18/2020 Watered them well. 07/23/2020 Sprayed them with Thuricide solution. Otherwise I'm just watching them grow.

SpaceToast 07/25/2020 Insects have been chewing on my plants. The damage is not too extensive. I expect these plants to grow faster than they can be eaten. 07/30/2020 Mixed 3 teaspoons Big Bloom, 1 teaspoon CalMag, and 1 teaspoon RootStim into 2 gallons of water and fed the girls with it. I am not using anything nitrogen rich because the potting mix feeds for 6 months.

SpaceToast 08/10/2020 Gave the girls some water. 08/12/2020 Mixed 3 teaspoons Big Bloom and 1 teaspoon RootStim into 2 gallons of water and fed it to the girls.

Split the mixture between the two pants.

SpaceToast 08/28/2020 Watered both plants. 08/29/2020 Watered the girls and picked off some yellowed leaves. 08/30/2020 Gave the girls some water. 09/01/2020 Watered both of the ladies. 09/03/2020 Mixed 3 teaspoons Big Bloom, 2 teaspoons Tiger Bloom, 1 teaspoon Grow Big, 1 teaspoon RootStim, and 1 teaspoon CalMag into 2 gallons of water. Split the mix evenly between the two plants. Picked off some large fan leaves to allow more light to the lower bud sites.

SpaceToast 09/05/2020 Temperatures soared up to 107 F today. The taller plant wilted. Gave the girls a good dose of water. 09/08/2020 Gave the girls some water. They are accumulating some ash from the wildfires that have been burning away. 09/10/2020 Mixed 3 teaspoons Big Bloom, 1 teaspoon Grow Big, 2 teaspoons Tiger Bloom, 1 teaspoon RootStim, and 1 teaspoon CalMag into 2 gallons of water. Fed the mix to the plants. Picked off some leaves, too.

SpaceToast 09/12/2020 Gave the girls some water. Picked off some yellowing leaves. 09/15/2020 Watered the girls. 09/16/2020 Gave them more water. Weather is turning hot and dry again.

Split it between the two plants. 09/19/2020 Sprayed the plants with Thuricide and Dr. Earth Final Stop. 09/20/2020 Watered the girls. 09/24/2020 Mixed 6 teaspoons Big Bloom, 2 teaspoons Tiger Bloom, and 2 teaspoons CalMag into 4 gallons of water. Fed the mix to the girls.

SpaceToast 10/26/2020 Watered the girls. I am debating whether to chop them now or wait another week or two. The weather is getting colder.

SpaceToast If I could I would grow photodependant plants all the time. Alas, I can only grow one crop of those each year. These were a pleasure to grow. The plants generally responded well to my feeding schedule and produced a bountiful harvest at the end. I would grow these again.😊
