Blueberry Cheesecake no-till

Luisdabs This week I added the trellis net to start training the girls. Huge growth from last week, cover crop is starting to grow nicely.

Luisdabs Humidity was getting too high so I did some heavy defoliation day 3 of flower, she bounced back no problem.

Luisdabs I did a selective defoliation yesterday since I felt like they needed extra light penetration and extra air movement. Also watered about 3L of water each and gave them some malted barley to get them going. My RH went down to about 60-62% and girls are looking beautiful.

Luisdabs Plain water only, the plant on the left seems to be flowering faster due to excess nutrients, some burns here and there and she didn't bounce back like the plant on the right after last defoliation two weeks ago. Plant on the right looks fuller and bigger, but less developed flowers by just couple of days. Both are clones from the same mother.

Luisdabs Overall both girls are looking fantastic and extremely frosty. The girl on the left a couple of days ahead, both now changing colours. Plain water only. Purples are starting to stand out and the bud itself is also changing colour. Smell is very berry like when I open the tent, only when I actually touch the resin does it really start to show the delicious blueberry notes. My temperatures have been around 24/25°C (75/77°F) and during the night around 20/21°C (68/70°F) this has helped in maintaining the terpenes in the buds and not volatizing during the day. I have smelled this in an outside environment during summer with very high temperatures and the blueberry smell was very noticeable but when dried and cured the terpenes had gone.

Luisdabs Almost there! I feel like maybe one more week, maybe even 9 days till I chop. Both girls are fading beautifully and the buds are looking frostier and bigger by the day. Smell when I open the tent is of berries and skunkiness. Can't wait to try this out.
