Gorilla Blue Auto - Advanced Seeds

Yucreepin How’s it going guys, first time doin it since I was a kid - where I had super limited space and didn’t really have a clue! ...managed to grow some of the best I’ve ever smoked though. (Think it helps being you’ve grown it yourself). So I’ve got a small selection of autoflowers from different banks and Ive decided to do a test run using just one seed (though I may pop another along the way). I’m a big fan of Gorilla Glue #4 and so have decided to go with the Advanced Seeds Gorilla Blue for something a bit different... though there isn’t much info online(!) It’ll be the first time using autoflowers and LEDs. I’m super impatient since my days of growing back in the day - and I’ve been checking up (too much) however I was really pleased to see the little lass has broken ground! She’s just getting some sunlight and as soon as my Rhiz gets her she will be getting that with some RO tap water. I want to keep it really simple this grow - I used to always rush to try advanced stuff before nailing the basics. Used to always do the old paper towel technique but for this one I just soaked the seed and dropped it in it’s final 30L pot after 24hours. OTHER NEWS: Invested in some Mephisto Genetics - Grape Walker Kush - after seeing the delicious looking stuff being grown on here... it seriously looks one of the frostiest ever! Hi everyone! ✌️

Yucreepin Everything seems to be going well, starting to see noticeable growth each day. She’s a really healthy colour and no signs of any stresses yet. I’ve gradually lowered the light each day - but she seems to be loving it. She has the fan directly on her so is pretty cool. Still waiting on Rhizotonic - however she seems to be putting out enough roots, I’ve kept it fairly dry and watered in a circle around the edge to force her roots to spread out a little more. Got a lovely little sample of some oldskool pollen like I used to smoke as a kid (if we were lucky!!). She’s squat but plenty of big healthy leaves. Yesterday I received my Grape Walker Kush & (freebie) of Pineapple Express from FastBuds. In about a week I think I’ll pop one of these into a smaller airport and have a semi-perpetual grow with 1 larger plant and 1-2 fairly small ones. How’s everyone doing?? 🙏

Yucreepin So to start this week I have begun some LST to bring her main shoot to the edge and encourage a more even canopy. She took well to it and is enjoying having some light Nutes now too... She’s also starting to smell, already! UPDATE - it’s 3 weeks today she came above ground, and during some LST today I managed to SNAP OFF the main stem... FFS... So as you can see from my photos she is now TOPPED and LST’d - and to be honest looking a bit sad.... what a shit end to the 3rd week! 😢

Yucreepin So here we are at week 4 - she’s super short but bushy as fuck! Think she’s beginning to stretch now, she’s shooting up a few cms a day now. What originally was going to be a natural grow is now a Topped LST grow... but she seems to be loving it!

Yucreepin She’s doing well - she’s so bushy that many of the leaves are yellowing a bit that are under the thick canopy... not really a problem. I may do some defoliation when she goes into flower... I’ve got Biobizz flower Nutes AND Biobizz topmax.... I also have some Canna PK13.14 - would there be any point in throwing the Canna in aswell? And can anybody advise on ml of each nute?

Yucreepin STILL vegging! If she doesn’t flip soon I’m going to force her as I’m running out of time. Otherwise she is pretty vigorous - after a pruning she is usually grown back out in a couple of days... very bushy! She stinks already so I’m not looking forward to flowering....! 😂

Yucreepin So she’s only just started showing sex etc but I’m kind of on a time limit now so I’ve had to flip her to 12:12 this week... I’m not too worried as she’s a big girl, think the harvest will be okay. But would have been nice to let it go further. She’s just draining after a big feed - she totally fills my bath hahah Thanks for dropping by! 👍 UPDATE: Kicked the 12/12 and she’s back on 18 (thanks guys!)... coincidentally she started flowering anyway, so nothing to worry about. Added some new pics including her healthy roots! 😍

Yucreepin So she’s about starting to flower now, I’ll get some better photos when she’s putting on some flowers. Did, probably her last defoliation yesterday... kind of lolly popping the middle bit now they’ve got a bit more room.

Yucreepin Nothing much happening apart from much shortening between stems now and she’s starting to put a few white hairs out... The canopy is becoming a little more uneven, with the 2 main shoots gaining a bit of height, there’s not much I can do and I’m not that bothered... I think without any problems I’ll be very happy with the bud I get! Was worried about the lighter green look to new growth, but having taken advice she does seem to be healthy! Hope you all good!

Yucreepin Sorry I missed last week, been a bit mad. She’s not really packing out the flowers yet, but I think that’s due to an over feed/pH problem that I’ve now fixed. The yellowed/red tinged growth has now been replaced by fresh green growth so hoping it will take over now.

Yucreepin Sorry been abit behind on this - LIFE getting in the way.. So she’s into flowering but has been stunted and is slow... the problem I had with the yellowing I think was slowing it down - I cut back nutes and pH downed it a bit. She then has been lush and green again - BUT now her top leaves are like 1 long main finger and 2 little deformed ones... when she WAS putting out 9 fingers per leaf... I have been away for a couple of days and I think it was hot and she’s been abit dry (note the explosion of roots into the box searching for water... Do you guys think that’s the case or something more specific....? At least she’s green again....! 😢

Yucreepin Not a great week - she’s recovering and looking healthier but has obviously been stressed a bit. Bud growth is SUPER slow, hardly changing over a whole week... really hoping she recovers soon. Definitely smaller pot next time, taking FAR too long!

Yucreepin Not satisfied with her progress at all... must have really set her back. New growth is looking lot healthier but seems to be vegititive growth... getting taller and bushier and greener.... just get on with budding!! 🤣
