First grow from seed

Jacko_1_3 Planted seeds 10 days ago. One Grandaddy purp didn't germinate. But 10/11 popping was a nice surprise. Had a couple seed shells get stuck as they sprouted. I probably should have let em do their thing, but I used tweezers to remove the shells. They seem to be doing fine. As I'm still new to the growing scene, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Jacko_1_3 Pretty mellow week. Started my feed, feed, water cycle. Plan on doing that for the entire grow. The ladies seem happy and healthy. Giving em a neem foilar spray tomorrow. Hopefully keep the girls going strong

Jacko_1_3 What a week! Saw an explosive growth spurt for 2 of the Bruce Banners. Fan leaves are already bigger than my hands. Fim'd all Gelato, and 2 of the Banners early in week. Cut at 5th node. All have rebounded nicely. Day 25 - Ladies were getting beefy. Decided to lollipop the first two sets of true leaves. Pinched off all but one growth node below my original fim. Fim'd the new growth from what was left. Hoping for 20+ tops per plant. Any tips or tricks on training would be awesome. Happy Growing!

Jacko_1_3 Took off a bunch of fan leaves early in the week. They were getting too big, blocking all the new growth. Bent the main shoot on all of the Gelato, and two of the Bruce Banner. They rebounded within a few hours. I couldn't belive it. Added tomatoe cages to assist with LST the rest of the way home. The Granddaddy Purple and other banner have been slow, but starting to bush out a bit better now. I've been foilar spraying neem oil at least once a week. Trying to prevent pests, and keep the ladies happy. Plan on keeping plants in veg for another week or two.

Jacko_1_3 Was a little to aggressive with the last defoliation, and stunted the ladies a bit. Also had other things going on, so the journal got neglected last week. Let them recover from the defoliation. They finally started to bush out like crazy. Both GDP are still considerably smaller than the rest of crop. Have been working on my LST techniques, slowly getting better. Hoping to stretch 5 or 6 main branches to the edge of the pot. HST has been simple. Snap the stems to fill the gaps. The plants always recovers stronger. It's pretty cool to see. Pictures are from day 42. Will be flipping shortly after day 50. Getting excited.

Jacko_1_3 Pretty low key week. Starting watering every other day. Plants need mild pruning daily. Trying to get as many nodes developed before flipping to flower. Transplanted one Gelato, and one GDP into 25 gallon pots. Putting them outside for the summer to see the difference.

Jacko_1_3 Late post again this week. Was busy cleaning, then moving the tent to the garage. Excited about the new greenspace. Have been defoliating and training the ladies weekly. I think they're ready for the flip. Gave all the stems a good final snap. Get the natural support in place, hopefully grow some fat buds.
